Middleton Park Pond |
Description |
This is another water that is run by the Leeds city council, and is slap bang in the middle of a local park. The water is located in an area with quite a high crime rate, so please be careful as to what you leave in the car, or on display. It is a sad fact but the cars do go, so lock it up. I personally would not fish this pond at weekends due to the fact that it does get very busy. Although the pond is only small in size there is a good head of fish in there, albeit they are fairly small. The main species are roach, perch, tench, bream, and there are a few pike in there as well, but are not seen all that often. You can quite easily fish a whip to hand to speed up the fishing. Maggot / caster and bread punch will all take fish. |
