This water is run by Bradford City Angling Association. As it’s name suggests it is a 20 acre reservoir that is shared between anglers andother water sport users such as boating and wind surfing. The banks are very steep and in some places unsafe due to loose banks, so check before fishing. The water is very deep in places, up to 50 ft and can offer some excellent sport with the slider during the colder months. There are no facilities at this water for use by anglers, and due to the excessive walks to some swims and the unmade banks it is unsuitable for anglers with disabilities. I would strongly suggest speaking to the locals prior to fishing, as with it being such big water, fish location can at times be difficult There are plenty of small roach and perch to keep you going withthe occasional trout falling to the waggler and maggot approach.Feeder or legering with substantial hook baits such as corn or meat will sort out the better fish. Bream to over 5lb and tench to 6lb are the main target fish. There are a number of chub, rudd and carp also present although they are widely spread. When winter arrives the Pike anglers make up the main stay of the anglers present. Dead baiting appears to work best, although
wobbling has also accounted for some very nice fish. Pike are present in numbers and the best currently stands at over 20 lbs
