Water Name |
Premier Fishing - Selby (Formally Selby 3 Lakes) |
Description |
This water lies on the outskirts of Selby and although the name suggests that there are 3 lakes, there is in fact only one of 12 acres. The lake is a former clay pit and was excavated way back in 1992 to form the one big lake out of the three. As a result the water is now full of features and cut throughs that hold plenty of fish. Undoubtedly the big fish boys target the water, as the lake holds over 200 double figure fish. The water also holds a good stock of general coarse fish. The water is ideal for big roach, bream and tench. There are a number of much smaller carp in the water, but are not that easy to target. General tactics work well, with fish being caught up in the water in the warm weather. If silver fish is your quarry, and you like catching a boatload, then 3 lakes can offer you the ideal venue. |
