A little bit of everything but mostly specialist barbel tactics with the occasional foray into carping. I still keep my hand in with the odd session using match tactics on rivers and commercials.

Recommended Gear:
The best (Shimano) reels you can afford. Shimano Aerocast match, feeder and carp rods. Shimano Speedmaster Commercial rods. Exceed disgorgers. (No, I'm not sponsored by Shimano, but if they fancy giving me some barbel rods to enthuse over, I'm willing to give them a go!)
