Loversall Lakes coarse fishing lakes are situated off the A60 on land at Quarry Farm, Loversall. The picturesque village of Loversall is just three miles from Doncaster and has just a couple of hundred residents. There are two lakes of approximately 2 acres each which are well stocked with over 15,000 fish as of April 2009. These include Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Crucian Carp, Ide, Perch, Tench, Rudd, Bream and F1’s. The lakes are filled with fresh water from St. Catherines Well Stream - a fresh water spring less than 400 metres away. The lakes have been beautifully landscaped are now on their way to being well established. The lakes are open to the public for pleasure fishing. Gates open at 7am daily. Club matches are held regularly and match bookings are being taken. We are now holding regular open matches on Sundays, Wednesday matches have now been cancelled. One rod only Barbless hooks only (no nipped or micro barbs!) No hooks larger than a normal size 10 No bolt rigs, free running feeders only Only Loversall Lakes Fishery feed pellets to be used No fish to be removed from the fishery or killed No fish to be handled in towels or rags Ground bait only through feeder or pole pot No night fishing (there are guard dogs loose at night No keep nets (other than in matches) No dogs No litter / fires / hook lengths left on the bank No boilies No glass on the bank No open cans on bank, e.g. sweet corn, luncheon meat etc. No surface fishing Cars to be parked in allocated car parks only Persons under 16 must be accompanied by an adult The management do not accept responsibility for injury to persons or loss or damage to property and reserve the right to amend the rules at any time. |
Directions |
Access to Loversall Lakes couldn't be easier - both the M18 and A1(M) Motorways are near - it is close to the junction of the two motorways. The entrance is off the A60 between the superstore roundabout and Loversall village. |
