Description |
This site is run by Doncaster Council and Woodlands Angling Club. This is a really nice venue, good for Disabled fishing, and is to become even better as they develop the top lake. It is barbless hooks and no keepnets apart from matches. It is already a popular venue and we are only just into spring, when summer comes it is going to be almost impossible to get on I think, and at £3.00 it is great value. Beautiful Tench and Carp on the bottom pond, nice Roach and Perch in the middle lake though there should also be some nice Chub and Golden Orfe in that one too. Then there is a pond in the wood but that needs a fair bit of work doing to it and it is quite a trek from the car parks. The Club does have matches - opens I believe on Thursday nights during the summer, winner takes all, golden pegs etc. |
