This fishery, which consists of two lakes of about 4 ½ acres and 3 ½ acres. It is open the whole year round and has good facilities on site. There are toilets and also a shop on site and many of the 80 pegs are suitable for anglers with disabilities. Both the waters are similar in nature and have a similar stocking policy, with a good mixture of fish that will generally keep anglers entertained throughout the year. The water has variable depths and careful plumbing will often find you a dip or a ledge to fish to. The deeper parts drop down to about 15 ft. The water also produces some good fish adjacent to the bank side rushes and reeds. The pegs are marked out and the mid thirties to the mid forties always appear the busiest. There is also work taking place on a new 50 peg lake that is due to open in 2004.

Towards the back end of the year, you may well need to add a bit of extra flavouring to your hook bait, as the fish do become wary. During the bright summer days floating baits such as crust or dog biscuit will take fish where all else fails. Tench also provide some excellent sport with fish of 5lb making appearances. The tench tend to be close in the margins first thing, drifting further out as the day goes on. If silver fish takes your fancy then pole fishing between 8 to 10 metres with maggot or caster will see you taking plenty of roach, perch, rudd and bream. There are also quite a few chub present.
