If you can imagine writing the letter "U" with a big thick marker pen, then this is the shape of the water. It covers approximately 6 acres in total and houses about 50 pegs. It is well run by the owner of the water who lives on site. There are two convenient parking areas, depending on which part of the lake you want to fish. There is also a toilet on site, and many of the pegs are suitable for anglers with disabilities.

The whole of this water just screams features at you. The water on average is just over 6 foot with marginal reeds, overhanging trees and two islands to fish to.

The key to catching at this water, pick a feature and feed it, then fish a bait amongst it. The water has a good mix of carp species, the largest recorded caught fish went to over 26lb, but they do average around the 9lb mark.

There is also a very good head of grass carp, which go to 15lb. Out and out carp tactics are the way to go here, whether it be boilies, large lumps of meat or hair rigged corn. Grass carp do respond well to the method feeder approach.

Both bream and tench are present in numbers with better fish to 6lb and 7lb respectively. There is a very big stock of silver fish here - dominated by roach to 9oz with most fish averaging 3oz. It is not uncommon to see anglers fishing one rod all out for carp, and bagging up on the pole. Maggot, caster and worm being the favoured baits for the bits.
