Description

Birkin Fisheries is situated on the fringe of the pretty village of Birkin, the venue consists of two waters both of which are very well stocked with all the usual suspects The largest of the two is a moat lake type of water which is very river-like in appearance and is capable of accommodating 58 anglers on very well made pegs, the average width is around the 13 to 16 meters mark and the average depth is around 5 feet deep.

Although there are no facilities for hot meals etc there will be a toilet block on site in the near future.

Directions

Exit the M62 at junction 33 and join the A162(OLD A1 North bound) and go over the flyover heading towards Brotherton there is a mini roundabout, turn right and head down SUTTON LANE, through the village of Byram cum Sutton and onto the village of Birkin. You need to turn left at the t junction when you arrive in Birking village, then right onto Haddlesey road and the fisherie can be found on the right as you leave Birkin
