Description |
Pottery Pond extends to some 5 acres of water with excellent access around the entire lake. It has been continually improved over the years. Originally setup with the carp and pike angler in mind it has been landscaped to cater specifically for their needs. A mixture of large multi-rod fishing pegs with space for bivvies etc, though smaller single rod style pegs ensure that Anglers have a good cross section of choice when arriving to the fishery. Throughout 2011 a lot of large carp have been showing and many caught into the mid 20s, with pike on average 9-10lbs with fish landed to 31+lbs, tench averaging 5lbs with fish up to 10lbs, bream ave. 5lb with fish caught over 9lbs. The venue provides easy access car parking a few metres away from the lake edge. |

Prices/Costs |
Day Ticket: Pole or waggler £5 for 1 rod, £1 for extra rods. Carp or Pike fishing £10 per day for up to 3 rods. Night fishing £20 for 24hrs from 2pm to 2pm by prior arrangement. The venue is open from 7.30am to 7.30pm for day tickets, or sunset, which ever comes first. Payement via the honesty box, and not on the bank. All tickets must be purchased prior to commencing fishing. |

Rules |
- Barbless hooks. - No sacking of fish. - Carp and pike min.line 8lbs,carp rods only. - Unhooking mats required. - No fixed rigs,leadcore or shockleaders make sure leads can break free. - Landing nets must have at least 32 inch arms. - No dogs, fires or guns. - Children under 16 must be accompanied at all times. - No rods to be left unattended. - No fish to be removed from the lake. The owners are in no way responsible for any loss, damage or injury to either persons or property sustained whilst on the property. |
