Description

Not a big pond but nice all the same. Some nice reedy features around the edges and one nice lilly pad bed beneath a tree which would possibly host the tench known to be in this water. There are a lot of nice size roach and rudd caught close in or mid water on maggot and casters whereas the crucians took more to pellet fished on a pellet banded hook.

This is a nice little venue so please respect the surroundings plus also this venue is not to be confused with Mill Pond as that is a totally separate venue.

Mill Pond is located on the main road (B1242) just as you come into Ulrome but if you drive further along past Mill Pond you will find a lane called Bugg Lane. Turn down here and West End Farm is located on the left as you pass a small grassed area used for caravans

This is a day ticket water at £4.50 for the day or £3.00 after 5:00pm.

Rules
  • Barbless hooks only
  • No Keepnets
  • No groundbait (except on feeder and cupped in with pole)
  • Inline feeders only (No fixed rigs to be used of any form)
  • No Nuts (ie tiger nuts, peanuts ect)
  • No litter (please take it home with you)
  • Landing nets must be dipped before use
  • No petfood (No catmeat dog biscuits ect)
  • Open from 7:00am till dusk

Directions

Directions - the farm is in the village of Ulrome, which can be found by taking the B1242 from Skipsea towards Bridlington. Just before you get to the village, look for a road called Bugg Lane, and follow this until you get to the farm.
