If you live in and around the Newport area you really are spoilt for choice in terms of quality waters to fish. This is definitely a family spot, and families are positively encouraged, there are good facilities including male and female toilets. The water area itself consists of in the region of 2 1/2 acres that holds a good head of bream, roach, rudd, tench and perch. Directions - Take the M62 and at junction 38 come off and take the b1230 to Newport and Gilberdyke, again find Thimblehall lane and follow this until you come to a T Junction swing right down Landing Lane and you will come upon the water down there. |
