How to Help

How To Help Yorkshire Fishing.net

Fundraising

If you shop online there’s now a simple, easy and free way for you to help support Yorkshire Fishing. easyfundraising is a great idea where you can shop with hundreds of popular retailers including; Amazon, Play.com, Toys’R’Us, Evans, Woolworths & DELL, and at no extra cost we’ll receive a FREE donation of up to 15% from every purchase you make.

You can even raise free funds simply by registering with certain companies, or by trialing their services!

You still shop as normal and it doesn’t cost a penny extra to shop and raise funds in this way. You can even SAVE MONEY as many retailers give exclusive discounts and savings when you shop using the easyfundraising site.

If you shop online anyway why not try-out this service to raise extra funds for Yorkshire Fishing. It’s completely FREE and if you register before 31 December you could win an iPOD NANO.

Follow the link below and choose YorkshireFishing.net as your cause when you register..

Fundraising for YF.

Alternatively, if you wish to donate a small contribution to assist with site running costs, it can easily be done the "Old fashioned way" via post.

Many thanks.

Venue Updates

Yorkshire Fishing is a team effort, it is virtually impossible to maintain a site of this size, especially when the fishing environment is changing so quickly.

You can help by letting the team know when things change at a fishery that you have just visited. The quickest way is to send us an email. Have a quick read before you go, or when you come back and let us know of how it has changed etc.

We would like to cover all the day ticket waters in the county. If you know of one that is not listed on the site, then please let us know.

You can download a venue report document here (Microsoft Word Format)

Unfortunately a lot of the waters that have been do not have photographs showing the various areas of the venue. Getting a set of photographs of all the venues is another long-term plan. We would be extremely grateful if you could help out by forwarding your venue photographs if possible.

Fishing Articles

The site members write many of the site features, such as Red Letter Days and Members Articles. If you would like to send in article then all submissions will be greatly received.

On a similar theme – we are always gratefully for photographs of your captures.

YF.net is run on a part time basis, we have resisted turning the site into a commercial one with adverts, and popups plastered all over the place. To help the site grow, we need our visitors to spread the word. Please tell people about the site if you like it. The more people who visit and share their catches and experience the better the site will become. Alternatively, if there is anything you don’t like about the site, please let us know. And don't forget - you can help fundraise very simply following the details above.

Thanks for reading and your support.

The YF Team.

slack areas are found mainly on bends in the river, and the term slack refers to the part of the river where the current is not as strong.
