Far Grange Park Ponds, Skipsea.

There are two waters available for fishing here, with accommodation also provided should you wish to make your stay a little bit longer. The waters have good all-round access, which makes them more than suitable for disabled anglers. The first pond that you get to is the smaller of the two. This pond has had a great deal of work put into it and is wonderfully landscaped into the surroundings of the park. The water is well stocked and offers varied depths across the pond. The main stay of the fish present here are the carp which run up to nearly 20lb. Tench which are worth having at up to 5lb are taken early spring from close in on corn and worm. Perch, Rudd and Roach make up the other species present.

The second lake is further down the road and is much larger in size, with pegs numbering almost 80 (Although it would be a bit cramped with all of them taken. This lake offers some good bankside fishing features and these are the best places to fish first and last thing. A similar stocking policy is in existence on this water with the pole appearing to be the preferred option. The lakes do tend to get very busy during the high season, but midweek will generally see you get the peg of your choice.
